I would highly recommend
Handy Home Improvement for ANY type of job. I had Crown
Molding,Baseboards and new Doors throughout my home. It looks
fabulous. Kurt had some great ideas about my bathroom and attic space
that didn't cost much more and really make a big difference. He could
be an interior designer as well. Kurt is very proffesional and
knowledgable in his field.
Everything was done very meticulously. He and his worker are
perfectionists! They cleaned up very well when they were done too and
you couldn't even
tell how messy it was before.
Another additional plus for me was they are animal friendly. My dogs
roamed in and out of the house as they wished while they worked and it
didn't bother them.
I have much more to do with my home and I'm going to use Handy Home
Improvement for everything!

outstanding job you did in completing the inside of our garage. You
were done in a timely manner, and kept on the schedule you gave us.
We had no drywall, no shelving, and
"stuff" literally EVERYWHERE! We were in desperate need of getting
organized in order to park both our cars in the garage.
You helped us understand what could
and could not be done within our budget, and gave us the most for
our money. I am a visual person, and appreciated your drawing out
the cabinets, laundry / sink / water heater area, and the workbench
area. We are now able to park both cars in the garage, and even
have enough storage to help my Mom out with her "stuff"!! It is so
nice to have an organized garage.
Your attention to detail was much appreciated, also. I love the
crown molding at the top of my cabinets.

I have hired “Handy
Home Improvement” and Kurt Gerum for several projects at my home. I
am impressed with the quality of his work. His prices are reasonable,
his work ethics are refreshing and I have found him, as well as his
crew, to be honest and reliable. He just seems to have a knack for
visualizing how something will look, and many times will improve the
outcome.
Some of the projects
he has completed for me are the removal of acoustic ceilings,
installation of ceiling lights, interior and exterior door
installation, new windows, the demolition, removal and replacement of
patio, as well as building and installing gates. I am planning
more projects and will ask Handy Home Improvements to do the work for
me.

Handy Home
Improvement came recommended to me by my realtor when I bought my home
four years ago. I am still using him today for several projects. He
has the experience and the professional know how I look for when I
want to remodel or rebuild. Plus, he is very pleasant and has the

Kurt Gerum and his Handy
Home Improvement Team have handled many different home remodel and
construction projects for us.
We started small: closet remodels, putting in outdoor gates, stucco
repair, mantelpieces, shower enclosures. Then we moved up to a closet
installation and a bathroom remodel. We were so happy with his work
that we had him build an office upstairs and completely remodel our
master bedroom, master bathroom and walk in master closet. It came
out great.
Kurt has always had excellent suggestions for doing the projects
better than we had originally planned. For example he suggested
angling our master bedroom window alcoves to let in more light and
open up the room even more. It is now one of my favorite parts of the
master bedroom. Also his attention to lighting needs has helped add
extra ambience to each project.
My wife loves that each day when Curt and his crew leave, everything
is cleaned up. He has always been on schedule and he and the people
he works with (Kirby and others) are extremely conscientious. I would
trust Curt with my life as well as any future projects.
